This weekend, hundreds of students will head to the University of Michigan for the first MHacks event, a 36-hour hackathon with over $10,000 in prizes.

We’re excited to be sponsoring MHacks, the second event we’ve sponsored, with a “Best use of Ribbon API” prize, which is a $500 Apple gift card. Other sponsors of MHacks include Facebook, Andreesseen Horowitz, Groupon, GitHub, MailChimp, BrainTree, TokBox, Red Hat, 10gen, and many more.

MHacks is on track to become the nations largest student hackathon with over 500 hackers. We think this is a great opportunity to get the Ribbon API out into developers hands, and see what awesome hacks they can come up with.
