Today, we’re excited to announce two new additions to the growing Ribbon team in San Francisco.

First, Daniel Brusilovsky has joined Ribbon to head up Business Development & Growth. Prior to Ribbon, Daniel spent time at Highland Capital Partners, JESS3, TechCrunch, was on the founding team of Qik (acquired by Skype), and started his own company, Teens in Tech Labs.

Daniel and I first met five years ago walking from the San Francisco Caltrain station to the TechCrunch50 Conference in 2008. Daniel was 15, and I was 17 at the time. We were the youngest attendees at the conference, and immediately hit it off. Now, five years later, we’re working together to disrupt the social payments space.

Sean Blake joins us as a Front-End Engineer and Designer all the way from Salt Lake City, Utah. Sean has done work for such companies as Ustream, NuSkin, and Platinum Protection. Coincidently, Daniel and Sean have worked together in the past, which is how he comes to Ribbon.
